ROGER W. TICKNERCRSP, Paralegal, CMP, RPT

President

Roger Tickner is a seasoned health and safety expert who has helped position Tickner and Associates as a leader in the ever-changing landscape of workplace health and safety compliance. Roger has built his reputation on the back of 40 years of professional experience. As a top professional, his opinion and judgement are respected, trusted and highly sought after by employers, government and labour. He is a past chair of the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals and in 2020 was appointed by the Minister of Labour, Training and Skills Development to serve on the Prevention Council of Ontario. Roger is highly skilled public speaker and sought after on all matters of health, safety, WSIB and workplace compliance across Canada and the United States. His decades long philanthropic efforts continue to impact a wide variety of charitable causes.


George PapadakosCRSP, B.A, RPT

COO, Executive VP

George Papadakos currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President at Tickner Safety. George is a graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Business. George is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), a Canadian Registered Training Professional (RPT) George is involved in day to day aspects of our accident prevention mandates and is a key member of our critical / fatal investigations team acting as a lead investigator and gatekeeper. George also delivers certified training in Working at Heights and First Aid / CPR.


George ChristopoulosB.A. Eng.

Director of Communications

George Christopoulos is a York University graduate with an English Major and is currently Director of Communications at Tickner. He started his career as a Toronto Sun reporter covering crime and municipal affairs. He later became a senior member of the Toronto Police Service’s communications team, and then Press Secretary for Toronto Mayor Rob Ford. George is an expert in brand protection and critical corporate communications. He is a key member of our Critical Emergency Response Team in charge of media control. His expertise has been tested and is a proven asset to our clients.


Kristen MilliganRPT

Director of Operations

Kristen Milligan is the Director of Operations for Tickner Safety. An integral voice on the Senior Management team, Kristen is a graduate in Occupational Health and Safety from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Canadian Registered Training Professional (RPT). Kristen is a Senior Team Lead investigator on our Accident / Critical Emergency Response Team. As a seasoned OHS professional, Kristen also delivers certified training in Working at Heights, WHMIS, First Aid & CPR and corporate safety compliance. She coordinates with clients to build and implement safety programs resulting in enhanced safety cultures. Her expertise has been tried and tested, and she is a proven asset to our clients success.

Edwin ShahbazianB.A. Tech. (Hons.)

Edwin Shahbazian is a graduate of Seneca @ York, holding an Honours Bachelor of Technology in Software Development and a Diploma in Computer Programming and Analysis. As a long-standing associate of the company, Edwin brings extensive experience in health and safety, combined with a strong technological foundation. This unique blend of industry expertise and technical skill has enabled Edwin to play a pivotal role in supporting clients to achieve their health and safety goals.
